Pineapple Rum Sour

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 oz Daufuskie Island Gold Reserve Rum
  • 1 oz Fresh pineapple juice
  • ¾ oz Fresh lemon juice
  • ½ oz Simple syrup
  • Egg white (optional for a frothy texture)
  • Pineapple wedge and cherry for garnish

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a shaker, combine Daufuskie Island Gold Reserve Rum, fresh pineapple juice, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using).
  2. Dry shake (without ice) to emulsify the egg white.
  3. Add ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.
  4. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice.
  5. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry.
  6. Enjoy the perfect balance of sweet and sour with a tropical twist.
