Disguise Optional cocktail made with Lythgoe Bourbon

LYTHGOE BOURBON

Disguise Optional

2 oz Lythgoe Bourbon, Pauline’s Victory
1 oz fresh grapefruit juice
0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz honey syrup
1 small sprig fresh rosemary
Soda water to top
Grapefruit slice and rosemary sprig for garnish
Lightly press the rosemary sprig between your palms to release its oils and drop it into a shaker. Add bourbon, grapefruit juice, lemon juice and honey syrup. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 10–12 seconds. Double strain through a fine-mesh strainer into a highball glass over fresh ice. Top with a splash of soda water. Garnish with grapefruit and rosemary.
Tasting Notes
Bright, aromatic and refreshing with a subtle herbal note from the rosemary. The grapefruit and honey balance the bourbon without masking it.
Serve
Cold, in a highball glass.
Behind the Drink

Bright enough to draw you in. Layered enough to keep its secrets.

Disguise Optional was created as part of the Bootlegger’s Collection, pairing the bold character of Lythgoe Bourbon with fresh grapefruit, lemon, honey and rosemary. The result is bright and refreshing, with a subtle herbal edge that complements the bourbon without concealing it.
