The Unmarked Door cocktail made with Lythgoe Bourbon

LYTHGOE BOURBON

The Unmarked Door

2 oz Lythgoe Bourbon, Pauline’s Victory
0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
0.5 oz fresh orange juice
1 dash Angostura bitters
1 egg white (optional)
Orange twist for garnish
If using egg white, combine all ingredients in a shaker without ice and shake for 15 seconds to emulsify. Add ice and shake again for 10–12 seconds. If skipping the egg white, combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake for 12 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with an expressed orange twist laid across the surface.
Tasting Notes
Bright and citrus-forward with a silky texture. The orange juice softens the lemon and lets the bourbon shine through on the finish.
Serve
Cold, in a chilled coupe glass.
Behind the Drink

A hidden-door classic with a brighter, more inviting side.

The Unmarked Door was created as part of the Bootlegger’s Collection, pairing the bold character of Lythgoe Bourbon with fresh lemon, orange and a touch of bitters. Bright citrus and a silky texture soften the edges, while Pauline’s Victory carries the drink through with a warm, confident finish.
